NAIDOC Week

NAIDOC celebrations are held around Australia in July each year to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Take a look at the website to see if there are any celebrations in your area that you can participate in.
For a civilization that dates back to over 40,000 years I would like to I acknowledge and pay respect to the Turrbal people as the original and ongoing owners and custodians of this land (Brisbane). I commit myself to actively work alongside Indigenous people for reconciliation and justice.
