After our long walk in Abel Tasman, we had the perfect place arranged to rest our weary eyes and bodies. Motueka Lakeside Lodge. What a cool place, it was a log cabin with a private little suite upstairs just for us, with a gorgeous view. Even Scully took a moment to enjoy the view.

We have been looking forward to this day since we booked it online months ago. What we booked was a boat ride to the middle of nowhere and a packed lunch. If we wanted to get home that evening we were to walk our way back to the nearest ferry terminal before the sunset.
